Muck Boots - Esk/Humber

Hi

Muckboots recommended these boots based on my criteria (good grip, warm, safety toe, good support for walking). I can't try on and need to buy on-line. Anyone using these or tried them. tempted with the Humber boot with steel toe cap but not sure if too heavy/ cumbersome for walking. I live in my le chemeaux wellies (only take off for bed) but not warm enough in current weather!

I have the AVON ones they are warm and comfortable, I chose these because I can't get the ones on with the rubber too high on the ankle, if you have slim legs you'll be fine in whichever, they are all nice

I have Derwent. True to size. They are a little heavy but worth every penny to keep your feet warm and dry!

edited to add I wear them every day down to the yard, walking to the village and at work!

i have the esk! as dose my Dad and OH dad is a farmer and wont have any thing else! they are lovely never have cold feet brilliant grip n 2 years on mine are doing v well! they take a bit of getting used to and breaking in stiff round the ankle but i would not get any thing oethr now, try www.cheapwellies.com

I have the Derwent too, I love them to bits, have never had cold feet in them. I think the Esk are a very similar shape, just designed to be even better insulated and have the safety toe. I looked at the Esk yesterday in a local shop and the look exactly like mine. In this weather I live in my derwents, they have amazing grip (coming from someone who falls over a lot!), I walk everywhere in this weather and find them really comfortable.

Thx for the responses. Plumped for the Humber Boots, arrived just in time for the second freeze. Feet fantastically warm without sweating and insole is supportive. But very heavy and slightly too wide - probably a man's fit, so not for long walks, just a yard boot.

they used to kep my feet nice and warm but after about 9 months of wearing them nearly everyday 1 now has a split in it, the lining inside is ripped on the heel, so no longer keep mt feet warm and dry. They are also bloody lethal round the farm not quite sure how I haven't broken anything yet

I love the Harry Hall Humber mucker boots but have also seen the Harry Hall Fenton stable boots at Equestrian Outfitters which am tempted by as so cheap - which at this time of year is my main criteria!!
