Am thinking of getting some Muck Boots - the Tyne ones as need long waterproof boots and these seem a good buy. Just wondering if anyone has any experience of these!

Thanks!

Yep - mine are justy coming up to 4 yo and apart from rubber a bit worn are like new - wear them winter only for everything (riding / yard) would definitely buy another pair

are they the riding ones ? have had 3 sorts of muck boots between me and my husband. very warm and I hack in my riding ones but a bit thick to get enough feel to school in. generally pretty good although husbands did split around ankle after a year of heavy use.

I have had a couple of pairs best boots ever, but can be warm in the hot weather.
Daughter has a childs pair and never complained of cold feet. Where she was a pain when wearing hunters always had cold feet!!

I have some and think they are great

I keep them for winter as I think I might actually melt in them in summer, but I do know people who wear theirs all year round.

I've had some of the normal type muck boots and they lasted me for 5 years! They were so warm that in the winter I could literally only wear 1 pair of thin socks , They would have been fine if I hadn't torn the neoprene on some barbed wire, I bought some of the Tyne one's at Hickstead but haven't worn them yet as they are far too warm to wear in summer.

I am on my second pair (in six years). I wear mine in very wet weather in summer, and I turn the tops down so they are not too hot.
Brilliant boots!

I have some and they're brillaint.
Love mine, especially in the winter.
Occasionally wear them in summer, and roll the tops down so they're not overly warm, but definately winter boots!

i loved my first pair they lasted for over 3 years of hard use i rode 6 days out of 7 in them but. . . .i wore the sole out so i brought another pair . . . .
they lasted 6 months really disapointed they split across the back of the ankle.
i dont have they spare cash to buy another pair as the horsey always requires something and he's further up the list of priorities than me.
I'm really gonna miss them this year there nothing comfier or warmer.
anyone know wheres theres some cheap ??

Have had the same pair for four years...tey are the only ones that don't get sucked off my feet in deep gateway mud, keep my feet dry...AND haven't split anywhere along the join of the sole with the upper. Would go for eh rider pair..which they didn't do when I bought mine and it looks like its going to take a fair few years to wear the out.
