Muck Boots - which ones?

I've decided on some Muck Boots to replace my not-so-aged-but-very-decrepit Hunters. I quite like the Tack ones as these are going to have to go to work with me (yard work) and I like the idea of having reinforced bits everywhere. I won't ride in them so that's not an issue. We have deep, sloshy mud at work and I'll be walking on concrete a lot (so need a sturdy sole) and at home it's mostly surface water and long grass to tackle.
So... suggestions please? Which Muck Boots do you have and why did you choose that type? Ta

Im on my 2nd pair of the Muck Boot Tyne, I love them. My first pair lasted nearly three winters and I have lovely toasty feet, I do suffer normally with cold feet.
 
Having had 2 pairs of the riding ones which I loved but both split in the end, I am now trying some which are like the tack boot, but have a ridged sole. Like these ones, but mine are green, maybe they had been sat in the tack shop for years, but so far I'm very pleased with them, and most importantly I haven't fallen over or slipped in the mud, nor lost my boot in it.

would agree re the ones with the ridged soles. mine were quite sliipery in the ice on concrete or tarmac. Saying that, they've lasted well and are THE warmest things for feet, my feet have never been cold in them.

and I've just washed mine in the washing machine and they came out perfect!
 
Tynes. Mine have kept my feet warm, with just thin cotton socks, in minus silly temperatures for the last two years.

Grip: never had a problem in the snow (fortunately don't get a great deal of mud) mind, when I have slipped it has been in conditions that any boots (without snow chains, spikes or blades) would slip on. After an ice storm we put on skates and SKATE on our GARDEN, that's how slippery it gets.

I am reliably informed that the men's version has much better grip...sexist or what?
 
Don't get the Tack ones, the grip is rubbish on just about ever surface!!!..........Mine have lasted years cos I hardly wear them due to the lack of grip, even though they are lovely shade of purple!!!
 
and mine didn't last at all ( the tack ones ).

They split where the little toe goes, winthin 4 months of use, tyne were not interested, nor were the online company I purchased the boots from. Even tried the sealant the company recommends to repair such rips, did not work.

If the boots are so good why do they recommend a sealant for repair.

They are very warm, just not built to last more than a few months!

Had them almost 12 months now & no signs of splitting or anything. Have been keeping my feet lovely & warm in recent foul weather too. The grip isn't the best, especially as we have lots of mud and slopes to content with but still love them.
 
Thanks guys, I got the Tyne ones and they are fab so far! A bit hot for working in this weather if I'm honest but I really needed a pair of neoprene ones for winter. Come spring I'll get some cotton lined wellies but in the meantime my feet will be snug

These are my Tyne muck boots!!! They didn't last very long and split within the first few months, the neoprene started peeling and the rubber split away, hence the hay seeds actually growing in my boots!!! They still don't leak through to my feet though! Will not be buying another pair!
