i have just bought a pair of muck boot co, boots. i meant to buy the tyne ones so that i could ride in them, however i ended up with the tack ones, can anyone tell me are these boots suitable to ride in?

I would never have ridden in mine as they don't have a heel. Can you not swap them for the tyne

They are probably not "suitable" to ride in, but my daughters ride in theirs.

No not suitable - sorry.
They have no 'heal' & the sole is quite thick / slippery.
You really need to change them for the Tyne ones if you want to ride in them.

unfortunately i have already worn them round the farm, so unable to change them, will have to stick to joddy boots, chaps and cold feet. never mind

Wash them, ebay them and buy the tyne ones instead

I bought my daughter some tyne ones for Christmas and she turned her nose up at them[ also because I had bought a size too large] so they are still in the box but as I bought them by mail order it will be a pain to send them back!

Im having general 'boot dilema'. I need some waterproof boots but don't know which ones to go for. Im size 6 which is an added problem as all the decent boots in sales are sold out of my size.
