Please help me decide what to do. I have bought muck tyne boots and they are too big. I've sent them back but now don't know whether mudruckers would maybe be a better fit. I have to order them online so don't want to make a mistake again. It just cost me £7 to send them back!! So... which is better muck tyne or mudruckers?!?

Please stop me making another costly mistake.

Edited to make it clearer! I was a bit confused by the question when I re-read it. Mudrucker boots come in 4 different types all made by the same people. Here's a link to an example of all 4:

So the mudrucker tyne IS the mudrucker version of a riding boot. The other mudrucker types are 'yard' boots. So your question is asking 'which is better A or A?'!!

Now for my original post about mine! I hope it makes sense now:

I have the ones you can ride in (tyne). You can ride in the shorter ones though although I wouldn't want to.

I have a size 7 and I am usually a 7 1/2 to 8 so they do come up quite big.

In terms of which will be a better fit, they're both pretty much the same, just the tyne are longer than the shorter ones if you see what I mean...?

Ive had 2 pairs of the Tyne, I love them. First pair got to there 3rd winter, this pair on their 2nd. I agree they go at the back, mine havent cracked but the back seem at the ankle has come away a bit so do leak slightly if you go in water over your ankle. It hasnt put me off as I suffer from very cold feet and these keep them toasty warm. I have just got a pair off Ebay for £21. They arent the Tyne though, they are the Avon but I couldnt resist.

I don't get what you mean really. Muckboots tyne are riding boots, yes but they are different from Mudruckers. I was asking which were better. Sorry if it didn't make sense.

Apologies, my friend just corrected me too. There are Justtogs muck boots and The Muck Boot Co. muck boots apparently! They look the same though!

It's been a long day, I'm off to bed!
