I'm having real trouble keeping my very wet fields clear of poo. I can just about manage to push my wheelbarrow through the mud but it's doing my back in and I'm having to make more journies.

Last year at HOYS I liked the look of the mucktruck but thought them too pricey. Last week a new company started distributing in the uk www.powerbarrow.co.uk

These are more reasonably priced and do the same job so I'm considering getting one. I am just worried it will get bogged down in the wet fields and on the soggy muckheap.

I would like to know of any experiences people have had with mucktrucks or anything you've heard before i potentially waste my money

Thanks

Friends have a John Dere Gator, more expensive but they use it for harrowing the arena, poo picking, carrying around jumps, they have also bought attachments for spreading fertiliser and spraying so they use it for all their field mainenance - great fun to drive as well!

Would you not still have the same problem of them getting bogged down in the field (surely they are way heavier empty than a normal barrow)?

Yes i thought that but they have told me due to the wider wheels and the fact they are four wheel drive this doesn't happen. I'm not convinced though which is why i am trying to find people who actually have first hand exerience of them. When i got my flail mower i got a free trial which convinced me to buy. But i can't seem to get one with this which has set alarm bells ringing.
