What do you think? It has a certain ring to it, wouldn't you agree?
Had another chat and have decided to go for home boarding now to see how I get on with having dogs in my care.
The Council will issue me a license for home boarding from now until January 1st, where I have said that IF I want to run a small kennels I will have something set up and able to run by January 1st and apply for a new license for kennelling at that time....BEFORE I use the kennels obviously.
All we need to do at the moment is extend our garden fence. It's currently only 1.2m high as my Cocker never jumps, but it will need to be 1.5m high to meet licensing approval.
I will probably only do the home boarding until October time, then close down whilst I build kennels (if I still want to go ahead and don't decide I'd rather home board continually).
The other name option is something like Halmerton Hall Canine Retreat (that's not my actual farm name, but the name of my farm is also the local village's name so it would be a bit unwise to broadcast that on the forum.
