pony has 3 white legs with very pink skin
and has now got mud fever on her back leg; never had it in the 3 years i have had her
the vet came out about 1 and 1/2 weeks ago.
told us to hibiscrub it twice a day and dermosil it
(its not mud fever, well it basically is but its up her legs and all scabby)
after the scabs had gone we got told to use sterile cream, but that made her leg really pink (she had to have all the fur clipped off) so now we are just hibiscrubbing it and covering it in sudocrem
she was on danillon and nordine for a week; twice a day
once its healed a bit more, we will put a mud fever barrier on and sports boots on her back legs, and brushing boots and over reaches on her fronts to turn out
is there anything i can do?
when she comes out of her stable in the morning its warm and puffy...
