Mud rugs

Those of you that have mud rugs, does the belly cover rub at all?

No, not found that it rubs at all - I don't have them very tight there and the straps are elasticated anyway.

I've just got a 50g one. It's a really nice rug - I've not used the belly guard yet but the only issue I have with it is the velcro at the front is a bit crappy so it folds.

Not had an issue with that personally, have used the 50g and 20g rugs with bellies on three different horses with no issue.

No. If anything they are a little bit big in the belly. Brilliant rugs, I have the 50g with neck for my mud monster and it does a fantastic job of keeping him dry and comfy (and mud free!) all through the winter. I would say they're well worth the money, particularly if you can get one on offer. I bought mine and another livery liked it so much she bought one too.

No doesn't rub , pony is quite chunky and IIRC the straps are on the shortest setting

I absolutely love these!

My very sensitive skinned coloured lived out all last year in them, they kept him clean, toasty and without rubs.

They also stood up to being dragged around by the youngster when playing

True to size i would say.
