Please help?!!! Does anyone with a cob or feathered horse use pig oil? I have heard it is good to apply to the legs/feathers to protect from mud and if used once a week will provide a barrier that is very effective. We live in an area of clay soil and after all the recent rain our paddocks are already swampy and muddy. I hate having to hose legs down at night to get the mud off (and im sure this is damaging long term). so, if anyone has used or knows how to use pig oil or leg oil can you share with me! many thanks!
