Hi, have been battling what I thought was mud fever for a while now with one of my horses. We swabbed it recently as it was not improving with traditional mud fever treating and found it was a nasty strep/staph bacterial infection, no mud fever bacteria was grown. We are currently treating with antibiotics and it's getting better. However I'm now staring to worry about when he does go out again. The vet has suggested changing diets to improve his skin barrier. He is fed fast fibre and pro hoof at moment. Was considering trying the feedmark epidermis plus. Has anyone got any suggestions?thanks for reading
