Harv has got it quite bad on his hind legs, there is a bog in the field and there constantly in it!!
Ever electric fence doesnt keep them out

Owner has been washing,drying completly and plastering with vasiline, but it seems to be getting worse!!


Will try what you said and see if it makes a differance

I'm doing exactly the same and its healing up nicely. But again it has to be dried thoroughly
 
there is a cream that someone at our yard uses it comes from america its called Aromaheel i have used it on my mare with excellent results its not very expensive either and smells really nice (lavender).
you only need to apply it twice a week and it really works
