mullen, ported or.....

as you may have read, my youngster is just back home after being backed. i am not sure what to get bit wise for her. she tends to put her tongue over the bit, but still remains pliant and stoppable. i am not sure if i should get one or the other of the two bits she went well in. considering her tongue-over-bit issue, would i be best getting a mullen mouth or ported, she was in a mullen mouth, the other bit she went beautifully in, and would prevent any harm to her young mouth, is a hackamore. she was initially trained to respond to voice commands ina rope halter.
i appreciate schooling and time will improve her mouth issues and the edt will be seeing her tomorrow.

Tighten the cheek pieces then she wont get tongue over bit until she learns to accept the bit

i can't. the bit sits at the corners as high as it can go already.
