As title really. I do have public liability through Harry Hall currently and with my ridden horses they have their own policy to cover vet bills.
I would like to get one of these blanket cover type policies though and have been unable to upgrade my Harry Hall one which led me to look around at others. World Horse Welfare is currently in the lead over HH as its for multiple horses rather than just the two.
Public liability is the same amount 10 million, HH you get free postage but I rarely buy from them really, It's been the same stuff in the sale as long as I can remember and nothing very exciting.

Any others to look at?

When I looked a couple of years ago as a friend was claiming on HH, the cover from WHW was a lot more comprehensive than HH and they would have covered things/ parts of the bill that HH didn't.

I haven't heard of any others that are similar to these two so I'll be interested to see if there are others.

WHW is the better think of those two. The standard £165 excess and £1500 cover, you can choose to up that to 3k with HH so that’s their only plus I think.

The only other thing I can see that HH has is multiple person cover too. I have my OH on my policy in case he has to handle any of them and things go awry!

I have harry hall for my three.

It's a separate policy to the PL so that might be why you couldn't upgrade OP.

I have the £3k cover and the tack cover.

I claimed when Reggie was kicked on the stifle joint. It all went through very smoothly.

I can't comment on WHW, but would recommend HH. My friends loan pony jumped a barbwire fence and got tangled. twice in 7 days. HH paid for both lots of treatment.

I claimed on HH 5 years ago when Amber cut her leg open and they were good, although did query the x-ray but that was quickly sorted with a letter from my vet confirming x-ray was due to cut as we suspected a fractured splint bone and they paid out. All sorted in a couple of weeks.

I have since moved to WHW and not needed to claim, so can't compare but I switched as I had 4 horses for a while. I've just renewed and confirmed with them that you don't have to name your horses on the policy but you do have to provide ownership info when you claim. Also when I get my renewed docs I need to save them this time as one or two events that I do expect you to have proof of PL cover.
