my cob does that in canter while I'm on him. sometimes he faceplants. Not cool :eek: :D

I read the thread title as "mutilated" pony :eek:
 
him, after 12 years I've learnt to sit up and ride defensively, so when he faceplants, I just look like I'm jumping :eek:

I have to say you look very graceful....and your boy makes it look very dashing with all the flowing hair etc :D

I can laugh, but I most certainly would end up on the floor, so well done!

I always think he looks clinically obese in that photo :eek: Sadly my field no longer looks like that - all mud and no grass now :( and the mane is muddied dreadlocks :(

I have many of them, sadly :eek: This is made 100x worse by the fact I don't have a hat on - being young and stupid, clearly.

he did it right in front of two very smart looking riders while we were out hacking at the weekend. My mate was riding him (she's fine, competent, not phased by him flooring himself!) and I think they were appalled by us :o Very embarassing. 'specially as we'd just over taken with a view to going for a hooley, then felt too embarassed to trot away without checking him over :o

I'd be lying if I said I'd never ended up like this, though as a result of an extra stride not an on-the-go-snack-attempt!

haha well sadly I'm well into both :o you can aspire to join the latter when the little pony is ready :D Or better yet, aspire NOT to :p

how come he falls like this? looks quite scary! cob I ride always trips up however i don't know if it looks anything like this lol, feels like it sometimes.
 
because he's a twit, midi. Normally he does it because he's trying to get his head down to eat :rolleyes: trips over his feet and slips - he doesn't do it often - maybe once a year or so.
