Multiple horse insureance

Are there any multi horse policies like multi car? Wonder if a single policy for 3 horses plus trailer would work out better value??.

I think NFU do multiple horse policies but don't know if it works out any cheaper per horse. I have my trailer on my NFU horse policy and it's the cheapest way to insure it.

I have a discount for multiple policies with E and L, but that's the closest I've heard of.

Petplan do discounts if you have more than 1 policy, I have 5 insured with them. You do have to ask though, they don't automatically give you it!

I think pretty much everyone does. I got multi discounts with SEIB and then also with KBIS when I switched to them.

I still get a discount with 5 policies. My monthly premiums haven't changed so the discount must still be in place

I definitely have discounted policies, maybe existing customers discounts were carried on, they even back dated the reduced payments for me when they missed one of my policies out!

Thanks guys. I have 1 pony plus trailer with kbis. 1 horse with E&l and a new one to insure need to do some consolidation.

So how much are the premiums? I would think you would have to be very unlucky to have big claims on all your horses, so self insuring plus a Public Liability policy such as you get with membership of BHS or WHW would be a better option?
