She's not even licenced to drive the thing (she's 73)! Reversed my lovely purple lorry Barney into the path of a car, I think she wanted to move him closer to the pavement where he was parked. Is it bad that my first concern was for the damage to my lorry rather than if she was ok? I was SO mad with her...

...and then I woke up.

What on earth does that dream mean?!

This is my Barney and he's not purple, only his collar is.
I've never named a vehicle though!

You got serious case of "separation angsiaty "

Quite possibly! Although if I look out of the study I can see that he is safe and well... he had his bi-annual shower today, perhaps because I'm feeling guilty?

Yes!

Do you think you need a holiday!?

Well now you mention it... ;) My only holidays are competitions where of course I stay in the lorry! It's Easter hols next week and it seems not a moment too soon!

i'd hide the keys as well :) my black kia is called Bryan!

Love the name! Keys being hid!

This is my Barney and he's not purple, only his collar is.
I've never named a vehicle though!

Your Barney is lovely! All our vehicles end up with names... varying from Barney to 'The Tank' (Mum's X-Trail)

What!!!! Never named a vehicle - you are missing a trick :)

My Defender is called Ermintrude :)

My first car (a Nissan Micra) was called Ermintrude!

:O Thank God other was only a dream! I would be protective of the keys from now on, too! :D

I think Barney suits a purple lorry! Does it have any green like his belly?

He doesn't, but my competition colours are purple and green... I did not go out looking for a purple lorry though!

My Defender is called Hiho because she's silver... My old one was called Flo.

I think Barney is a perfectly sensible name and I would have called new dog that and bought him a purple collar if he hadn't been ten and already had a name he responded to so well. I never wanted a dog called Snoopy but boy is he nosy!

ETA I can't stop giggling at Clannad's post - might have to nick that

Sorry, sorry - meant EKW's post - how many times can I edit before my computer blows up?

My lorry was called Blossom, because the first thing I managed to bump into was a cherry tree in full blossom!

My friend's lorry was Bertha.

I too have a Bertie, I embarrassed myself when we went to look at him to buy by blurting out "Can we take Bertie for a test drive?" and my husband then had to explain to the seller that it was ok and I was safe to be let out into the community :)
