Mumble is a big wuss - he's scared of his own shadow. He's terrified of the weirdest things - I think the strangest is the Go Compare advertisements. He has to hide when they are on - he likes to crawl under my skirt or under a blanket if he can.
He hates whistles, bells, screams and any loud noise. When he's scared - this is the face he shows.

You may find the noise thing is to do with the pitch. Matty dog hated any medical programme. The heart monitor bleeps drove her crazy. She hated the sound of smoke alrms as well. They reduced her to a quivering wreck.
