After seeing a post tonight on how to get young kids into riding it got me thinking...
Back when I was " young" I didnt bat an eyelid about anything until I fractured my neck and gave up riding for 11 yrs..........
Now when my daughter & grew up a bit she always gravitated towards horses when we were at animal farms etc...... so when she was 3.5 booked her in for a lead rein lesson...

Her very first lesson

To getting her first clear round rosette @ 3.5 yrs old!

Roll on couple yrs & she got a fab lead rein pony who taught her alot.

and took her to tenth out of 28 in the RDS

New Pony...

Onto me .... lol. took my daughter to show me up & give me the kick I needed to get back into the saddle... couple of pics...

What a lovely series of pics, well done to both of you

I have to comment though if that combination only came tenth what on earth beat them!!

Aw lovely story and great photos :)
I suppose an advantage to having children would be the excuse to buy one or two lovely ponies.. ;)
