Morning all,

I need a bit of help regarding the sizing of Bronte Jackets for kids!

It's one of my little clients birthday's next week and I want to get her one embroidered, but as it will be personalised I can't send it back. Don't want to ask mum either as she will insist I don't and I would like it to be a surprise.

Tried to sneak a peak at the back of her current jacket without being obvious last night but it's in ages...

she's just turning 11, but is quite tall but skinny. I know the jackets are made slightly bigger, so I was thinking a 32" chest... or maybe a 34? I know it being too big isn't the end of the world as she can grow into it but I don't want it to be too small!

I have emailed a few companies but they haven't got back to me :(

Bet they will when I place an order though....

Any help would be fab, my knowledge of dressiing children extends to bopping a hat on their heads and pulling the velcro on their BP's tight!

I'd definitely go for a 34, if she's 11 and tall - she will grow like a weed for the next couple of years - my daughter is 13 (today!) and 5ft6 and I always had to buy big otherwise it was too short in the arms. Fairly sure the jacket we got when she was about 11 was a 34 and she's still in it but not for long.

5"6 crikey! I'm 22 and 5"7 lol!

Yeah she's taken a bit of a sprout recently but I have no idea how kids grow ( I was never one you see ;))

Thanks very much for that I'll get her the 34" and if it drowns her she can use it as a duvet untill she grows into it!
