Mum's Still Got It!

Back in the saddle for the first time in ten years, easy as pie Only had to remind her about keeping her heels down a couple of times

I've been itching to get my mum riding again for a long while and so stole one of the horses we have at work as he is such a cool dude I knew he would give her a lot of confidence. We did some transitions and changes of rein in the school before we went out and then we set off on a hack. I love my mum and she sacrificed going further with riding so that I could have more lessons/ponies etc. So now I'm chuffed to have been the one to get her back on board. I am so lucky to have her, and am thinking of treating her to a helmet at Christmas as she wants to keep riding more regularly now and then when she retires next year have a plod of her own.

Hehe! She's promised not to steal Chilli apart from brushing her, mostly because she says she's too naughty sometimes

She was worried she'd be too old and have forgotten it all. It came straight back. Just like riding a bike!

Love this pic horse and rider look so happy !! Hacks with ur mum are great I treasure mine I get to do it each week I'm an adult love a plod and a chin wag also a cheeky gallop we have great fun!
