I got balloted on both of mine

So just quickly entered grt witchingham!!

Grt Witchingham have already been past theballot dat (friday) and are still accepting does that mean if you enter now you wont get balloted???? They will just close when full?
 
If they have passed the ballot then they should just close when full so you should be in.

Occasionly they ballot later than advertised - Aldon accepted entries after the ballot date this year and then balloted but hopefully this isn't the case with Great Witchingham.

awwww dont feel guilty!! Hopefully got in to grt witch so thats ok!!

Can Haiitkins get into grt witch? or is it too far?

It was to be my first BE event, know very little on the venues etc Will speak to a more informed friend and see if she can advise on any nice place.
I need a friendly Intro for a horse that will do it for the first time.
So dissapointed

But I guess this whole balloting thing is part of Eventing!
 
Yes but when it gets to ballot date if they have too many entries they ballot.

If you had a sticker on you wouldnt have got balloted. I stupidly didnt put a sticker on Spiders but then ive entered grt witch now so should be fine.

And if you enter after the ballot date and they are still accepting you should get in as they will then just accept entries until full
 
That is why you got balloted!

I had a horse on a ticket too - and im registerred so he would have gone above you as you would be a ticketed rider and ticketed horse.

But then my other horse is registerred - so I am and she is and we still got balloted - so looks like only horses with specials on got in.

Grt Witchingham has a nice Intro
 
Thats so annoying for you guys, i cant remember the last time they balloted!!
I saw my sirname on the ballot list but it was someone else, although i do know her, poor girl.

I was very lucky and have managed to get into the intro with day before dressage so i will be going to munstead after all

But only 250 will be competing in the intro?
Cant believe how many entries there are this year - eventing must be getting very popular as this event didnt ballot last year....or did it??

Im doing the PN too (and Intro on other horse!)

I hope this isn't an indication of the state of ballotting this year. I sadly suspect it is though.

Yay! We'll finally get to meet. I will be there with pupil who is moving up to PN after a succesful outing at Isleham (2nd in Intro).
