How far away is this new case from Munstead?

Ill be gutted not to run, but am just interested. I cant believe this year has been a total disaster with the weather and now Foot and Mouth.

I guess so.
Thats what they did at Aston.

Well fingers crossed, and fingers crossed it is sorted quickly for the farmers sake.

I agree though, ground is hard so will be running slow anyway but would be nice to get out

last time it was a 3 mile inner zone and a 9 mile outer zone

let's hope that they have slaughtered needlessly - the 2nd herd slaughtered in august didn't actually have the disease !!!

that poor farmer is even more devastated at losing his herd once he found out they weren't sick.

in the greater scheme of things a farmers livelihood is on the line with the animals slaughtered - your horse will still be fit and well and able to compete once this is all over

disappointment is different to financial ruin/disaster and the weather has been grim for farmers as well as horse people this year.

Reynold, that was more what i was getting at.
In that, its been awful for the farmers this year.
I was only interested in Munstead because im not from the area.
Id rather not run if it means it stops the spread of the disease.

I totally agree, although annoying for everyone concerned, the main things is stopping it spreading
