So ventured up to Munstead today for the Intro and PN hunter trial as was balloted from there event last week.
Walked the courses and loked like nice 1st PN's for them.
So warmed up Spider and she wasnt really switched on at all - thought lacking energy but anyway set off and she was horrid!!! Really spooky and looking around not necessarily at the fences but just things next to them - so came back with a couple of hesitations - almost as if the wamr up of BE i.e. dressage and SJing is better and warms her up for the XC.
So set off on Mac and he was good but again not quite switched up and cam back with one stop so not too bad for still only his 3rd course!!
So had about and 1hr 1/2 to wait for the PN, got on Spider a bit earlier to try and switch her on more and she warmed up much better - started off super and was so much better and flowed even though the fences were bigger, came back with just a hesitation at the log then drop had a real baby look at it!! But flew eveything else in excellent style so was much happier!!!
Then on to Mac - again warmed up better and fl;owed a lot better, he flew over everything at a great XC speed and went clear - YEY over his first PN course.
So sorted them out and iced legs and results were going to be a while so drove off in lorry and as we went p[assed results were just going up so mum pulled over and I run over to have a look and to my surprise
Mac had WON!!!! was bang on the bogey time could not believe it!!! So won a lovely red rossette the "something someting" trophee! a free photo from Photo ynergy (which I will order and show this week!!) And 40 pounds!!!!! So won half my entries back.
So very very chuffed with ponios in the end!!! Then what felt like a long drive back to get home at 9pm, I am shattered!!! Had to ride 6 yesterday then 4 XC rounds today and work tom
