Came home to two very excited jrt's, Buddy and Rosy-posy who literally dragged me upstairs to show me their mornings work. On my nice new cream duvet was a Rook. Just for good measure the head and body were one end and the bum, legs and tail up the other end with blood and guts spattered all over the middle. Soot marks all over the walls and windows and nice new cream curtains. On the way back down I noticed a bit of intestine on the stairs. Couldn't tell them off as they were so pleased with themselves. I must get OH to put netting over the chimney.

Bless, they were only protecting the house from intruders. You have cream duvet and curtains with dogs

They're not allowed in the bedroom (unless OH is away then what he doesn't know etc etc) but as he goes to work after me it's his fault for not shutting the doors. I'd quite happily have them in the bedroom and OH sleeping in a basket in the kitchen.

I too have cream duvets, usually covered in Paddy paw prints. I get a wakeup call every morning!! Havn't had a dead rook yet tho, thank god lol

That is so funny !

The cats where I keep my horse bring me presents, one of the big ginger ones catches rabbits all the time and proceeds to eat it outside my stable once I've congratulated him on his catch ! Or they leave the guts in the hay and you put your hand on it ewe ! Have to say he usually eats everything

We had a cat that was a great rabbiter, and would haul them up the slanting roof along the gutter and into the bedroom. We were woken some nights by a bumpidy bump of a rabbit still alive being chased around and under the bed.Bloody cat.
