Well got the call thursday evening he had passed the vetting... whoo hoo so Gillies pick him up tomorrow morning and he will get stabled with them and arrives to me thursday lunchtime (already got hioliday in..)

Worried as he will have to travell without boots etc on as never worn them and more likely to kick out all way? I'm sure he will be fine though Michelle advised me he is brilliant in box or trailer - never moves!

Daughter is hyper to the max.....
lol.... cant wait as he is getting a bit vague in my head now!!

Only got insyrace to sort - what do you all recomend???
I have heard the horror stories frokm E&L..

Petplan have good word of mouth in my area?
any thoughts?

thanks

That's great news - passed the worst hurdle then.

I'm sure he'll be fine without boots travelling. They tend to a lot when coming from abroad and on long journeys too.

Petplan and NFU are both very good. Always worth checking with your vets though as they can tell you who not to use as bad payers etc.

Look forward to updates.

Brilliant news - he should be fine with Gillies so don't worry, we've used them before with no probs.

With regard to insurance I would go with NFU rather than petplan but that's my personal opinion and there are lots of happy petplan people on here....

How exciting! Hope all goes well with the travelling.

I personally had a rubbish experince with PetPlan....would never insure with them again. In fact they still send me renewel notices for my old boy who passed away 18 months ago and who i had such a horrible battle with them about....

NFU are without doubt in my opinion the best horse insurers around.

Good luck with Murphy
