Evening all,
I've got a 17.2hh Irish draught he is 13 years old, been happy in retirement for the last 4 years due to lots of health problems.
He has been treated for he's issue's but never came sound enough to ride but very happy in the field.
Our only big problem.. he is struggling to hold he's feet up for the farrier, he has bute running up to the farrier but it don't really help.
We think it's he's muscles that can't hold himself up, is there anything I can do/feed to help him out ?
Breaks my heart seeing him like it.
Any advice most welcome.

sorry to hear about your horse what were his previous health issues?
Vitamin E is really good for muscle health my vets sell it veterinary strength may be worth adding to his feed?
