Probably totally barking up the wrong tree, but just wondering if anyone can help me.

Horse currently has areas of muscle wasting/atrophy. The main cause is believed to be known, and a few secondary problem areas are currently being worked through with the vet.

However, just wondering if any of these "muscle building" supplements would actually help my horse!!!

I really rate Equitop Myoplast. Helped my old boy a lot, in combination with the right work (in his case, lunging with a kavalkade, long reining and LOADS of hacking while working correctly). It's not cheap though, about £80 a tub. If you have an insurance claim in progress you might be able to get it paid for by them - my vet prescribed it so my insurer paid.

Horse not currently in work... getting a few months break whilst we work through the check list of problem areas!
