We are taking Chocolate to the Stallion Parade at Westpoint Arena this year, and have received the entry forms which ask you for a cassette or Cd of suitable music to ride him to.
You get five mins on your own in the arena and we want to demonstrate his dressage ability plus some jumping.
What we need is some music that isn't necessarily Ride to Music type stuff, but something with a really catchy beat, voices won't matter either, but something that will enthuse the crowds and allow them to enjoy it if it's a familiar song.
Come on guys, wrack your brains, what can we ride to on the flat and over fences that will fit this?
I know you're supposed to use a metronome etc but don't feel that's going to be possible for such a differing demo..

The theme to Vandervalk.

Sing, Sing, Sing which is a swing number by the Benny Goodman Band, it was used on a Guinness advert, the one with the moth at the start. It's on the OST to the film 'Swingkids'.

Superman / James Bond / Magnificent Seven / Batman / The Big Country main theme.

SEen the Theam from Bonaza used with success, also more modern brass band music (stuff from that film Brassed Off) and swing musci seems to fit pretty nicely with anything.

The most over used but sucesfful bit for dressage to musci used to be the pink panther theme which could be good to?

I love the Champagne Polka....will wrack my brains for the composer. Ive used it a few times for DTM but cant recall who wrote it.....senior moment.

Strauss!!!!
