They must be mutants to survive what I am throwing at them..

Dog and cat have regular spot on treatments for fleas. Found a few fleas on dog and cat so put spot on both again even though a week or so early. Sprayed house and car with flea killing spray and washed all bedding at 90 degrees. Few days later I'm still finding live fleas on them. House and car sprayed again and I sprayed the dog and cat with a Bob Martin non-insecticidal flea killer. Few days later still finding live fleas on them again. Spray house and car with super strength front line flea killer that is supposed to last for 12 months. Spray the cat and dog with the bob martin stuff again. Still finding live fleas on them!! I've gone through 5 cans of flea spray, spot on treatments, and a non-insecticidal direct spray.

What else can I do??

Time to seek prescription strength stuff from the vet, and I'm afraid that the life cycle of the flea is such that even with effective treatments you may still see (temporarily) live fleas for 2-3 months into treatment. Tough little beggars they are!

Right. Trip to vet then. Little boogers. Luckily the cat and dog LOVE it when I groom them looking for fleas and will happily spend hours lying on their backs while I search for them. I'm an expert flea killer now. Brings out my evil killer side :)

Yep agree with a trip to the vets for prescription strength stuff. Bob Martin and the like is usually pretty ineffective tbh.

a friend of mine has 5 dogs and she had a terrible time with fleas last year nothing touched them she was advised to use comfortis which did get rid of them, someone else who works in a dog rescue place said the zap combs are also quite effective they are only about £13.

Took me 6 weeks to get rid of ours, and I'm holding my breath that I'm going to find them again! Like everyone else said, get something stronger and just keep hoovering!
