Hi,

Can anyone recommend a make of muzzle that would fit on an EBT? My dog sitter wants her to have one as she can be dog aggressive. I am trying to arrange for a behaviourist to see her but it's unlikely to happen before we go away at the end of the month.

Thank you WGSD. They have such different shaped heads that it's hard to know what will work for her. She is going to hate it but I understand that the dogsitter can't put her profession at risk if Jessie was to bite another dog. She is always on a lead due to her poor recall but she has been approached by off lead dogs before although they usually realise her hostile intent and clear off before she does anything!! I rehomed her when she was a year old, she had not had any socialisation and then broke her leg shortly after we took her on so she's very much a work in progress! Love her though - she makes me laugh every day . .

Do start with muzzle training so she sees it as a positive ASAP if you plan to instill this before the end of the month...there are lots of online tutorials. It's fairer on the dog and the walker if you're going to be out of the picture.

Absolutely CorvusCorax - this is why I need one asap. I rather naively hadn't realised that she would need one as the last time she was 'dogsat' she was confined to barracks with her broken leg. I shall get her measured tomorrow and order one. I shall have a look at the tutorials now as I have never muzzled a dog before - never needed to!!
