Let us hope it has been an object lesson in why he should STAY OUT OF THE PADDOCKS!

I have been waiting for this day for a loong time

One of the dogs at work grabed the eletric fence tape in his mouth once. He won't go near it anymore. (ours is off the mains so we're extra mean

)
Charlie Brown is so small he just walkes under it with no problem at all

He loves going into the water medows to eat the cow poo

He screamed like a girly

I know I sound evil, but he knows damn well he is NOT suppsoed to go running into the paddocks with the fragile, broken, and quite possibly borderline psychotic horses under rehabilitation but he chances his arm anyway every so often so it is his just desserts!

(Before I am blasted, he is kept on the lead when the horses are close to the fence - these are big old fields so if they are on the far side I let him off for a run. But he still isn't meant to go in there

I doubt it, this is not his first time

But it might put him off for a week or two (or just make him extra careful in wriggling under the fences

)

He really does! But he had been getting very careless about the whole thing, it was only a matter of time until it got him really

Flick and Islay always stayed out of the paddocks but since Amy has joined us they all nip under the fences to eat horse muck

- someone will get zapped again very soon I know, and Flick always screams blue murder when it is her

PS - before anyone gets on their high horse, the greyhounds only get let off in the paddocks when they are empty
