Just a sort of report of our 2009. I've actually made a folder with a bit of writing about each event I've been out to do but has taken ages to finish! At least I'll be able to look back when I'm about ninety and see what fun I had on my little hairy pony =P

MAY

Went to local show to do the 2' jumping (only that small because he'd not jumped since he'd damaged a shoulder ligament). 4th out of 48.

JUNE

Hacking and messing around really!

JULY

XC schooling, bombing round 2'6 ish jumps

AUGUST

Clear round showjumping, 2'6 and 2'9.

Pony Club camp! Had a great week loads of fun!

SEPTEMBER

Another local show did 2'3 and 2'6, only just missed a placing 2'3 but eliminated 2'6, one stop then crashed through a wall completely demolishing it =S

First ODE, 2'3. We won

OCTOBER

Local dressage, 2nd.

NOVEMBER

Clear round showjumping, 2'6 and 2'9.

Unaffiliated showjumping, qualified for cricklands, uk riders challenge and weston lawns in the 2'6, but had two down in the 2'6-2'9.

Small local showjumping comp, 2'6. 1st

DECEMBER

Addington indoor xc, clear 75cm, one down 80cm.

It's been a good year really, learnt lots from my ponio, mainly that if they feel like they're going to stop- KICK like crazy! And also when you get a little taller on your horse it's so important to sit back going into fences lol! Also had a great XC rally, jumping courses of about 2'6-2'9, great fun! Sorry for the lack of photos hehe! My aims for this winter and 2010 are:

Improve flatwork!
Be regularly competing 2'6 and 2'9
Go hunting

Thanks for bothering to read this! Would also like to add that reason I've not been jumping much bigger than this is because my pony is 20 and I don't want him to hurt himself again!
