Well my old man (23) has over £100 worth of vet bills sat on the dining room table today. After having his glands baloon up plus his feet and moping around feeling sorry for himself. Emergency vet diagnosed it as larengitus...

I went down the yard tonight and he jogged all the way in on the lead like a 2yo, got him in his stable left him with his rug on for a bit to let it dry. Took it off and BOTH his shoulders have swelled up like balloons. As in like HUGE.

Urgh he is so prone to everything. He has his magnetic booties on tonight see how he is in the morning. I'm SUPPOSED to be jumping both of them tomorow. He is such a nightmare when it comes to getting ill/injured!

Here is the man himself tonight, he certainly seems be feeling rather.. TO well.

Lantern is fantastic atm, i have owned him for less than a month and the main changes are the fact he's one feed and more regular work. I was riding him before but now he's mine i can do what i want. He is now developing muscle and has put on a lot of weight! Also a keen England supporter....

So there we go, i may even have some jumping pics tomorow. Definately bay ones and maybe even ginger ones!

Love the pics! Poor wet pooch! Know what you mean about oldies acting like 2yr olds. I had to ring up my lovely YO today to apologise for my 22/23yr old thug who for the 2nd day running has trashed a hedge to squeeze into the next door field where the grass is better. He already looks like a hippo and I'm not convinced he actually owns any ribs. So why he thinks he needs grass I don't know! On today's little adventure he managed to trash his new rug as well as the hedge. Every cloud has a silver lining ... now I've got an excuse to buy him one of those "Born to Roll" rugs which are so cool they should be kept in the freezer! Yay! x
