Am I a soft touch or what. Had a lovely dry, if somewhat muddy, hack this morning. This afternoon however, is wet and windy so have brought all 3 in early. They are now tucked up in fleeces with full haynets. Yes Mum will have to skip out later and try to groom if they have dried off. It's worth it as they are happy and chomping away!!

Don't blame you!!

It's horrible up here in Scotland too. Going to get my 2 in about 4. Can't relax until I know they are in and cosied up for the night!!

So are mine but only 'cos the hunt is about! Having spent the last 3 weeks getting my new lad to stop freaking out every time another horse is turned out, it all went down the pan this morning with over a 100 horses flying through

Eventually left yard about 1, dread to think what his stable will be like when I get back.

Mine are too, though everything else is out. They had the morning out but when the big lad came & stood at the gate I let him in - he's better standng in a dry stable with hay than a muddy gateway getting mudfever. As for the little lad, well he's so fat he's better coming off the grass & eating soaked hay instead.

I am just about to venture out into the wind and rain to get my lad in for the night...although from what I can see through the window he has already made his way into his field stable to eat the hay in there...very wise!

yes I got mine in about 2,30 there was absolutly no point in them being out, with their bums stuck in the hedge looking miserable, left their rugs on with the hope they might dry off abit, they are in a nice dry stable, it will be me who has to venture out agian to feed and skip out

It is just after five o'clock here and the weather has been grim all day. Ari is standing in the corner of the field staring at the front door and I expect FB is playing Eeyore in the hedge, but the sun is trying to ooze out from behind a cloud and I'm afraid they are out there until OH has finished the day's DIY, so at least until six! Nevermind, they have nice clean beds and hay waiting.

I have left Micah in too. He has not been used to going out and thought he would prefer to stay dry inside and get used to the nasty weather slowly. Mad I know lol

We gave in today and they are now coming in at night. Must admit I'll sleep better tonight knowing she's in her nice cosy stable. Not looking forward to the alarm going off at 5am monday morning though!

I have fed, changed rugs and turned out, mucked out, made hays and feeds, changed waters, and brought in, feet washed off, various lotions and potions on feet, change rugs, fed and put to bed 12 horses today.

They are all in their nice cosy stables now. I am exhausted.
