my 3 year old wont stop chewing

hi, i was wondering if any of you could help. i have my 3 year old in an inhand bridle with a korsteel black bit. (in hand) she constantly chews on it and im worrie dit will rib her mouth. i have a show in 10 days and wondering what i shouuld do to prevent this. xxx
 
How long has she been mouthed up? If she's 3 she'll still have teeth all over the shot so be worth having dentist out to see if all coming through ok or caps to pop off.
 
she has been bitted a few times. but not for the loast month or so and i started again yesterday. i just had the dentist out so everything should be fine. should i just keep trying everyday and gradually extend the time? i just dont want to hurt her mouth xx

She just needs mouthing properly. Put her in it everyday a few times, take her for walks out wearing it (led off head collar), and work towards long reining. Ten days is a bit of a push though to be show ready, their mouths is the one thing not worth rushing. See where you are in a weeks time.

She's probably teething. Doesn't really matter if the dentist has just been, there are so many changes going on in a 3 yr old mouth that bitting at any time can be uncomfortable for them. Just be patient :) do a little at a time and she'll come right
