As some of you know i was going to sale my boy due to my health problems :(
but this is not going to happen now :) My horse is my world he is so talented and to talented for me really!! My health troubles really effect how i can ride him and i started to struggle, i do not want to waste him as he is very very talented. So he is off to be competed by an international showjumper!! So i am going to be a lovely owner and cannot wait to see what these two do :) Im excited but aslo sad at the same time as he is my baby and he is going to be based with him which is quite far away so i will miss him big time :( I do not want to hold him back i want him to go fly and be the fantastic horse he is. Roll on the future :D I am one proud owner :) Here are some pics from over the weekend

WOW! Your horse can really jump hey!? Thanks fab news for you to have the pleasure of being an owner, i look forward to proud owner reports in the future!

Is that Rai jumping him ? Had to do a double take there for a minute as was looking at the same pics on my facebook page just this morning lol!

He's certainly got a super jump in him though...and Rai is a very talented young rider. I'm sure they'll do great :-)

yes thats rai! He is such a talented rider and my horse loves him i cant wait to see what they can do :)

He looks really special. Glad you've found a solution that makes you happy and the rider should be pleased to have him.

I always wondered what was in it for owners (even when they were paying me ;) ) but when my older horse was leased out I went quite regularly to see him show and was surprised how much I enjoyed it! I thought it would make me sad/jealous but it really didn't, I was so proud of him and happy he could be useful doing the things he loved and was good at it.

I know it's become politically correct to talk people down off the ledge when they think they're "wasting" their horse or - subtly different - not able to ride/care for it the way it needs to reach its potential (in the old days the "people in charge" were quite keen to take talented horses off lesser riders at every opportunity and wasted no time telling riders they weren't doing their horses justice! :D ) but I have to say, I think it's often more complicated than that. I think it's very brave of you to make this decision for the horse. Quite likely, when he's done with the big time, he'll be able to come back to you when you're more in a postition to use what he's learned.

Best of luck to you both!

yes you are right :) After his career he will come back with me, i also have another horse who is a 14.2 hes out with a junior rider on the junior circuit, i get great pleasure seeing them compete and do well and enjoy there job. I just know that with my health problems and also confidence i could never jump nobby at the top level he should be at

He looks lovely :) Certainly has plenty of jump. What level will he be out competing at? I look forward to hearing about his progress.

He will go out and do some smaller shows at about 1.10 to start with and then work his way up, hes previously jumped 6yr old classes and young rider, he prefers the bigger tracks. I have said to the rider that just do as he feels and he will tell me what shows he is going to do ect, he will have a plans set though the seasons
