Lots straight lines. Had her first canter under saddle last week. Hacking on her own and in company. Schooling once a week for 15 mins. She likes trot poles. Shall turn away for the winter. I’ve never had a baby before. And it’s been an interesting journey. 9314D851-5314-48D5-84BA-37032154DEB1.jpegFC212232-B0DE-4328-865E-E092392F533D.jpeg24F69D4C-E70C-4A81-89F9-1C621F1EA09A.jpegBB8D7497-D0DF-4AFA-82A2-A7E40A96710B.jpeg840F8032-55D0-4B4E-8E66-BA9AB20DC99F.jpeg

Thank you. She was very naughty at boot camp. Adamant she did not want to be backed ? And was a bit feral as she had just been left in the field with her nanny ‘uncle’. I’d done a bit during lock down last spring. Then left her alone. I’m glad she went to Simone as I think she would have been too much for me back. She grew up so much being away. Not in size .. but matured. She’s definitely alpha mare. And one to keep under the thumb. I had strict instructions after her return! I hacked her out the very next day. She did try and bite me today though ?.

Only really hacking out every other day as it’s good for baby brains. And they don’t turn sour in the school. Steering bit hit and miss. And she’s very reactive off your leg. Quite a hot little horse. This was her first ‘proper’ trot last week in a school which we rode to. Done her first canter. And then hacked home. No major explosions.
