Went to Farmway, then at the yard, I had to manhandle 3 bales of shavings, a bag of feed, and a big bag of carrots. Managed to get them all stashed, got the tack out, just going to get the pony, and WHAM. Knocked down with pain.

Got some emergency painkillers down me, and managed to struggle down to catch Shy (who of course was the other side of the field) while trying to get hold of hubs to tell him, and beg for sympathy.

Upshot, me walking round the yard making very odd "movements", no horsey care other than supper, and me feeling like an idiot. :o I'm so annoyed as I'm at RDA on thursday - hopefully the disc will click back into place quickly.

Ooo and this is in addition to going for an xray re my sprained foot, as the doc now thinks it may be fractured  hahaha, you just couldn't make it up. "oh and what happens if it IS fractured ? " " well nothing, unless they decide you need surgery "

I think I need to keep taking the tablets don't I - anyone else for the latest "bashed and bruised club" :)

No better today *sigh*. I do have an old back injury, but when you've been fine for so long........and horses involve lifting.......you "just do it". And 95% of the time I get away with it.

Mrs m, how are you getting along now ?? Cookies and cream to everyone

Hugs and good healing vibes, have almost resigned myself to using dicolfenic for the rest of my life, backs are just the pits aren't they and getting older is a bloody nuisance, you are in good company tho, isn't it amazing how many of us suffer with our backs but persist in pushing ourselves to the limit!!! Hope you're on the mend sooner rather than later poor you

Now I have had a very bad back for many years (has faraway look in eyes):D:D:D. The OH never had much symphay for my woes, that is until a month ago, when his back went, so like a good wifey I gave him as much of the Oh Dears!:D:D:D that I received over the years, in other words not much.:D:D:D His answer was Women can take pain far better than men:mad::mad::mad::mad:. So there for we are Superwomen:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D And when we say we feel your pain, we really do.:D:D:D:D:D:D

Superwomen :D I should have shares in Diclofenic too ! It feels so much better - the pain was like a ripping pain. Ha, tablets later and it's just an ache.

I've tried to sleep this afternoon, but unfortunately, my ebay blitz came back to haunt me (always have one when I am hurting ;)) so I had to keep getting up.

The dogs are so funny when they think I'm poorly, they cling to me like little soldiers protecting their mum. sadly, this means face licking, and as their breath is a**l, that is not such a great thing, and does not improve recovery time :p

Hope everyone's war wounds are on the mend. sm x
