She is STUNNING Una, a gorgeous girl, I may have a new favourite HHO dog.
Just out of interest, looking at the first pic, what is her favourite type of pizza?

Well, she is quite the pizza expert. She likes stuffed crust (she wont touch deep pan!!) with loads of cheese, ham, bacon and she even lets me have some mushroom when we share
When you're as slim and beautiful as Maya you can get away with it
Thank you for the nice comments. She is a stunner, my dream dog - from markings to temperment! I adore her.
Yes basenjis are pretty rare over here. There have only been about 4 or 5 litters this year!
I love the frenchies too! A friend of mine has a frenchie (she took the show pictures) and he is fantastic, his names Malcolm. He has a wonderful temperment. I've seen some very suspicious temperments at the shows though so i guess you have to pick your breeder carefully...
Yes I've always known they are expensive but this breeder researched the lines exhaustively before buying her bitch and sells the puppies at the same price she paid for the bitch. Really expensive but quality pups with no inherited problems. Hopefully may save money at the vets

She's really lovely. I don't think i've seen a basengi before, are they rare ?
I love that French Bulldog I see lurking in the background of the show picture. Am a bully fan and want a frenchie to buddy up with my Brit Bully.

I had my eye on the Frenchies, too
We see a lot of Basenjis in NYC, mostly the sand and white colour. I think the lack of bark and small size appeals to a lot of people. Your girl is very cute!

They're an extremely popular breed in Manhattan. On any given day we'll encounter five or so French bulldogs. My take is this: they're overbred and common (at least over here) and as such run the gamut from tall, leggy and hyper, to stubby and laid-back, to dog-aggressive. Same as with any popular breed, really. A restaurant near my apartment has a French bulldog owner
and she is seriously territorial and mean toward Stella. Chibi's Bar
I originally wanted a Frenchie but plumped for a Boston terrier because they're more intelligent, live longer and are generally more active. Still love the squat little bullies, though
