I'm so sorry Laura. I missed this when you posted it. Sat in work crying now. I've followed your posts on Lucy and know how much hard work you put into her and how much you loved. At least she went peacefully. BIG hugs to you xxxxx
 
Thankyou Aniseedmiddy. As much as it hurts that i never got the chance to say goodbye I am so glad she didn't suffer and she had the peacful and dignified end she truly deserved.
 
Laura, I am devastated to read this, you are one strong cookie and so was she!! Big bonus is that she is now out of pain, I know it was hard for you to not be there, but you did the right thing for her.
