My before and after of the new stables

Its taken me weeks (actually, I think months...

) to get round to taking the 'after' photos....then I couldn't find the camera charger, and of course the camera had died

So....some before photo's of our new 'home' - we rent the field with the two stables, just me....the roof of the stables had blown off and obviously needed repairing. I pay a pittance in rent on the basis we fixed the stables. I say we, actually my OH and our neighbour who is a carpenter (and did the work for free

), I just supervised!

I cant believe its all finished, looking at the original pics I wonder how we ever managed to get it done!!

We just need to sort the floor for the 'yard' out now, we are going to put down some hardcore/type 1 stone stuff (my mum works for highways and is hopefully going to get it for free for us - fingers crossed!!)

Very nice, sounds like it will be lovely when it's all done. Think the OH and neighbour deserve a bottle of something nice after all that hard work
