Today I have lost my best friend my pony of seventeen years had compacted colic and had to be put to sleep at the age of 27 I feel like I have lost my best friend, my crazy, stroppy, beautiful pony that could jump the moon if she felt like it so for all of you out there I know you don't me or her but please have a drink this evening for a legend, for a beautiful creature that I was truly privileged to have owned and all those other legends that have touched your hearts and are now galloping around in that big green field in the sky!

So so sorry for your loss. Hugs to you from us.

RIP pony, run free.

My oldie also had an impaction this week, it could so easily have been me writing this thread, so I do know how you feel.

So, so sorry. Cry many tears, tell everyone her stories and know that you loved her as much as you ever could.

I hope the pain passes quickly xxxx

So sad to hear your news. :(

I feel your pain. Two years ago, almost to the day, our old Border Terrier went over the Rainbow Bridge. There's not a day goes by that I don't think of him or shed a secret tear or two .........:(:(

RIP, superstar pony. Sleep tight.

C xx

I am so sorry for the lost. I know it's hard but time heals all wounds and you need to move forward. As they say "life goes on". My deepest condolences!

I am very proud of Miss Bean. She has always done good by her horses and there should be more owners as brave, sensible and loving.

Her pony was a true character who gave Miss Bean so much joy and fun. She has joined some outright legends today in beautiful pastures. x

I'm so sorry. Lots of hugs to you, & a raised glass to a best friend that I'm sure will be waiting until you meet again.

Raising a glass to your girl. So sad for you, I lost my boy who was nearly 30 last Sat eve and I feel your pain. RIP special friends. X

Thoughts are with you - be reassured that we all understand what it's like. I hope that soon you can look back and remember the good times and not just the sadness now. I'll raise a glass to you both XX

So sorry to hear your loss. There are plenty of us on here who know exactly how you feel right now. It does get easier with time and you will be able to think of times you had with smiles instead of tears. x
