My big girl................

...........had her first bridle on today, popped a straight happy mouth snaffle on her and she was a star. Let her stand with it on while I groomed her and she didn't bat an eyelid.
What should be my next step then? Have had her in a roller aswell, do I need to start to lead her out from the bridle or should I I just let her stand with it on a few more times?

Aww well done !

I would let her get used to it a couple of times first, have you had a saddle on her yet?

We woudl tack them up and leave them to stand in the stable for a while to get used to it.

personnally i would let her stand in it a few more times before leading her in it, thats how i started my boy, and after a lot of hard work (sooo worth it) he went on his first proper hack yesterday and he was super no nonsense whatsoever
