My bogoff (or more accurately my buy one pay for the second in installments) arrived on March 29th 2011. She has just started basic lunging etc and is so far being a star. She is a little on the fat side, she has been away at grass since April and I didn't quite realise how fat she had got! Now on crash bikini diet with small pony, both very cross!

The day she was born - 3 hours old

She's lovely! What a nice, big neck. My lad is 15 months old and I get so excited when I see photos like this. Can't wait till its our turn!

Thank you, she is such a nice person which helps alot. She definitely went through a real ugly ducking stage as a yearling so am very relieved she has got her looks back now!

Ooh she's lovely. She's much darker in colour now. It's surprising how much they change as they grow. Good luck with her.

She's very cute, going to be a cracker! Well done!
Thank you.

Thank you. The colour change is amazing really, she even looked like she might have white socks as a foal but all that is left now is ermine round her coronets.

She is gorgeous :)

She is super!

My boy ffin was a bogof, he was a super horse, I have just retired him.......its best when you bring them up yourself.

I know, it is already obvious that knowing their whole history and her trust in humans makes such a difference to her reactions to new things.

Wow what a lovely girl. What breed. How big is she now. Very luck to have such a nice girl

Thank you. She is warmblood / irish and currently standing about 15.2hh. Her mother grew to 17hh so not sure what size she will finish at.

Ooooh, she's just beautiful :) xxx

Thank you.

She is stunning! any ideas on her sire? My BOGOF is 2years 3months now and still a bit of n ugly duckling, no idea on his dad but his mum is a real chunk now at 6yo and I hope he takes after her.

Thank you everyone for the lovely replies, I obviously think she is great but it's nice to know I'm not wearing rose coloured specs because she is mine!

We think her sire was a yearling colt that was running with 2 mares because he was the last of a family line. His dam was a Grade A show jumper and he was by possibly Sir Shutterfly? The mare was by Douglas VDL and she won her 3 year old jumping at Cavan.

Thank you.

She never fails to astonish me, I lead her up to our home made water jump today (piece of blue tarp attached to 2 poles) she walked up to it, looked at it and popped over as though it was nothing! Wish my 12 year old tb felt the same way about it!
