ok i posted earlier about bandages for XC and i was recommended boots instead.
however i cannot find boots that won't slip down her legs. (they either dont go round or slip down, if the are tight when they go round, they slip!!

). my horse has its legs clipped out all year and doesn't normally need boots however i just want to give her a bit of protection incase she knocks herself. but don't want to spend loads of ££££'s on boots because i wont be using them that much. she is a cob, so she needs something for wide legs either cob/ full.

if you can reccomend some cheap(ish) boots please could you post a hyperlink to a shop that sells them.

any suggestions, i am desperate!!!

Thanks!!!

Have you tried Thorogood brushing boots? They do a specific size for cobs (before you say anything, the general cob size is not the same) These boots are wide enough to go round a cob's leg (ie the same width as full size) but are shorter than full size so sit better on a cob's shorter leg and sghouldn't therefore move around so much. As far as I know they are the only brand to make this specific size. They're quite nice looking boots as well I think!

how bout these?

web page

First ones on page for £15.75^^

cheap and they will do the job. there are all sorts though like the wrap round medicine boots - I think roma do them cheaper.
