I am so excited... it is coming on so quickly and I have been sent an email with the design I have chosen and it looks great!

The colour is not right as mine is more bluey, and the graphics are going to be a darker silver, but this is the idea of it:

Oohhhh, I love the graphics! I want to get mine resprayed and new graphics done in the new year (I want a dressage horse on mine too LOL). Would you mind letting me know where you are having yours done and (approx.) how much the paint job is costing?

Many thanks!

Thank you... I am really pleased with how it is looking too! I just need to pass the driving part of the test now

Once I have passed I am hoping to take Hannah to some unaffiliated competitions at Myerscough.

I'll have a look at the end when all the costing has been complete... I think the whole paint job, including the sanding down etc etc and graphics will be around £9000 in total.

I cant see the pic (in work). Was it like my design like lines that faded. that ian does.

[/ QUOTE ]

No, it is just one colour graphics as it was starting to look too busy with the windows being black, the body being ice blue etc etc. So now the graphics are just a dark silver which really compliments the body colour.

I am having it all converted at Wilkinson Horseboxes in Chorley, Lancashire... It might be more than what I have just said, not 100% sure as it is not completed yet. What I have learned is that you need to pay for good quiality paint otherwise you will get scratches etc very easily.

How many horses will the box take at any one time?

[/ QUOTE ]

Well, stalled for three but will probably only take 2 of mine weight wise

Surely £9000 is a typo

??? There's no way it should cost that much...or am I totally out of touch!!

My box didn't cost even half that amount to be sprayed 3yrs ago!

It is the paint I am using, the graphics and a full body rub down for the box as a new conversion.

Oooooh - that looks really good! Did you design it yourself?

Some amazing person on here (_Claire_ it was you I think

) spotted an artists website where I saw the design and just loved it immediately. It was exactly what I was looking for because wanted it to be subtle but a touch of modern about it too

Have to say £9K is a very very good paint job!!...mine cost £2K 4 years ago but it was a new build lorry ....would be crying everytime I had to get over against the hedge/trees on the lanes!!!!....will be lovely though..what type of lorry is it?? I assume brand new if your spending that sort of money on the paint??? very lucky person!

It's a Daf... tried out a MAN but it felt a bit too heavy on the clutch and I thought if I was driving long distances after competing two horses I would be shattered on the way home. I really enjoyed driving the Daf though

It's a new chassis, but has a limiter on it
