It's always a hard decision and a very sad one, but you are doing the right thing by your horse, which is the truest demonstration of love.

So sorry to hear your news, its such a painful decision to make. I had to do the same last year with my old boy, he was going downhill fast because of the cancer and I didnt want to see him suffer, so he went peacefully, munching on carrots and being hugged.

My thoughts are with you at such an upsetting time.
