Worry is a HighlandxTB, a smidge under 14.2hh and he is 16yrs, just. We hack, pleasure rides and dressage at riding club level, prelim& novice. He rarely comes home without a rosette. Worry has owned me for 6 years. He has a nice jump and we have been placed in combined training. I am a coward about jumping and I know he enjoys it so I feel guilty that we don't do much. Worry is very mistrustful of men and people in general, and is opinionated. He wrote a story about a day at dressage, which was printed in West Country Riders magazine last January. He's a whizz on the keyboard lol.
I haven't ridden for some months as I have a bad back and am thinking about getting someone to ride him out for me. He is enjoying the prolonged holiday though. he loves digging big holes in the paddock, waiting for it to rain and rolling around in the ensuing mire, bless. He hasn't forgotten his roots, related to hippo's.
He is safe in traffic and at my vast age is most important. I am lucky enough to keep him at home now. His companion is Belle a Sec A 23yr old mare, as spoken about in the vet forum about loose poo.
I really love my boy and can't imagine being without him, though I do swear at him sometimes.
