Well I usually avoid situations which involve my boyfriend and Indy as the last time I took him to the stables he just kept saying "she's HUGE!" (she's only 15.3) followed by asking whether I've ever jumped a car on her (I don't know what goes on in mens minds!) but anyway, I ended up running late yesterday and was left with the option of battling traffic trying to get home in time to see my boy, or waiting til he came over and taking him to the stables with me, so I opted for the latter.

BIG MISTAKE!

I have always thought my boyfriend to be an intelligent sort, but what came out of his mouth will forever shock and amuse me....

Picture this...

There I am taking Indies supper into her stable, when my boyfriend with a look of sheer disgust says "what is that?" I explain that its her food and he then asks (with a completely straight face may I add) "don't horses eat meat?" now initially I assumed he was joking, but after a long discussion about how horses are herbivores he confessed he had genuinely thought that horses ate cans of horse food, much in the same way as dogs have cans of dog food!

I have never laughed so much in my life.....bless him!

I used to send him to get my feed from Robbies(when they had the feed warehouse) as he worked near there. He once strode in and asked the lady for a bag of 'Happy Dude', it took them quite a while to work out he wanted Hi-Fi Good Doer!!!! PMSL!!!
